Microsite Case Study: Parents as Teachers 25th Anniversary

Client: Parents as Teachers is a nonprofit parent education organization providing parents of children prenatal-age 5 with support and information on their developing child.

Challenge:  Parents as Teachers needed a website created to compliment their existing website, but designed to promote their 25th anniversary gala.  In addition to providing information, the website needed to have embedded video, calls to action and web sign-up forms.

The Net Impact’s Solution: In order to provide all of the features and functionality needed, The Net Impact designed and built a 5 page microsite for Parents as Teachers on a new domain separate from their main website.  All marketing related to the event was then directed specifically to the microsite domain where visitors could easily find information about the event, become a sponsor or sign-up to attend the event.  In addition the website was created to interface with a third party system for collecting donations.  The site also linked to the main Parents as Teachers domain. 

Looking Forward:  Since the successful launch of the Parents as Teachers 25th Anniversary site, The Net Impact has created other event-driven microsites for Parents as Teachers including the Family Play Date site.
