New design updates are needed to enhance the balance of artwork displayed on the website and make it easier for Vincent van Gogh fans to browse and learn all about Van Gogh’s works. Fans want to learn more about the history of van Gogh and his artwork. The Van Gogh Gallery wanted to share this information to viewers but weren’t sure how to go about it. The website redesign needed to expose the creative side to The Van Gogh Gallery, using new ways to bring new light to the website. The reason The Van Gogh Gallery exists is to share the life and works of Vincent van Gogh. They needed a more appealing website that would keep fans wanting more.
Solution: The Net Impact recently completed a website redesign for The Van Gogh Gallery. The new design will capture the viewer’s attention by displaying the artwork of Vincent van Gogh in a new creative way. The updated website includes design and content changes to over 2,000 web pages and incorporated a slice of Van Gogh’s Starry Night into the new and improved logo. The Net Impact utilized Auctori to improve search engine optimization. The new website is now easier for fans use and explore. The Net Impact also added rotating banners to the website in addition to the background color change to brighten the appearance of the entire website. First is a home page banner featuring some of van Gogh’s most famous pieces of artwork and second is scrolling van Gogh quotes and sayings at the bottom of each page. The Net Impact worked to redesign Van Gogh Gallery’s website for customers to have a place to receive valuable information and learn more about Vincent van Gogh.
